The reason for touch game is to get more people involved. Also, to avoid injuries to participants. I have sustained enough injuries in my playing days. However, a social game or two is alright with me, is there enough interest out there for at least a 7.

Hey doc, first time i have

Hey doc, first time i have heard touch football, but wasnt we discussing touch rugby? sure, in rugby sevens there involves pulling people to the ground but at the end of the day, one rule applies, if you have the ball in your hands, just run. i think i can do that :)

Same thing: Touch, Touch

Same thing: Touch, Touch Football, Touch Rugby, Six Up; just depends on your country of origin, and the slight rules variation you play under.

Whilst Sevens is attractive from the perspective that eventually such a team, if serious, could could end up playing in HK, my body for one, just can't handle the physical demands of such a game.

However, with Touch, that's a different story, you mainly need some hand-eye coordination and general running fitness, and not much else.

Touch football, OK, I

Touch football, OK, I assumed someone is talking about American Football. We played that a lot in school in Canada. Also, we play touch rugby to warm up before practice. It is more than just hand-eye coordination and general running fitness. It does increase quality of passing and a lot more. Rugby Seven Hong Kong, that is very ambitious!!!! In that case, better start now!!!!

One of the schools here in

One of the schools here in Shenzhen has a cricket side. I think they have an Indian teacher. I will see if I can find out what level they are. If they are teenagers then maybe they would like a challenge. I am sure between Zhuhai and Shekou we could rustle up a team for a friendly.
There is certainly a Shenzhen women's cricket side as they had a game against HK at Shenzhen Uni in late June.

Hey guys, I play rugby for

Hey guys, I play rugby for the Macau team. If anyone is interested in playing, we have practices on Tues and Thurs at 7:30pm and HK 15s league play is going to start this coming weekend.

So far, since I've been playing for the past year, the Macau government has paid for the team (and me) to go to Indonesia to play their national team, Phuket 10s, the Philippines, China (many times), etc. Although we have a club fee this year (300 patacas), on tour, everything is usually paid for by the gov including hotels, flights, food, etc.

Anyone and everyone is welcome to come play or even pick up the sport!

I've never played cricket,

I've never played cricket, only watched on TV. I would be interested in learning though.
