gas blow torch (喷灯 pen deng)

Hi Everyone!

Me again... We need to find a Chef's blow torch (喷灯 pen deng) for some bbq food photography (to make the food glisten and add lines to steak etc). Our Chinese coworkers said that it will be impossible to find one in Zhuhai. Has anyone seen them anywhere?

Ah! Many years ago, my chef was preparing a private dinner function for me at a friend's home in HK. He did something, needing a torch, not finding one, he bought one at the hardware store. It worked!!!!

We went to B&Q, they didn't have one but they said to go to metal shop... There are heaps of metalwork/hardware shops around Xiangzhou, and the first one we went into had a gas blow torch! BBQ food photography went well. Cheers :)
