JJ, I have just seen a topic in French about making several forum categories or groups. I think this a nice idea. Can we do something like this, for example:
Daily life...
Business, law...
Travelling...
Traditions and Customs...
Education...
Health and Beauty...

and so on :)
What do others think?

I had this in my previous site, but some categories were left empty for a long while... this is why I decided to give up the categories on this new site.
However, it seems more people are using the forums, and very quickly some topics sink in the no man's land... so it may be a good idea to categorize again:)
I will wait a little whle see what other people say.
We have a 100 topics already!!!

I agree with JJ ... The site right now is great , we can go wherever we want to in fewer clicks .. if we categorize maybe moving from forum to forum will take more clicks...

My suggestion would be to just have three groupings
Social
News and views
Information sought/given

That way if you are looking for things like visas then you dont have to look through social activites. I agree that the previous forum had too may categories but I see some sense in having a few.
