Zhuhai's Waldorf school

Living in Zhuhai

Hi, there is a Waldorf school in Zhuhai. It is a kindergarten in a home with two classes, one ranging from 1.5-year-old to 4-year-olds and the other 4-year-olds and above. There are two nice courtyards, the big one in the front, in the house with various fruit trees and plants. The teachers there are Waldorf-trained teachers and the children there are very happy. The house is a two-storey independent building. However, Chinese is the only language in the school.

On contrary to a Montessori school, which focuses on developing children's study abilities, a Waldorf school focuses on developing various essential abilities in children's first years. It offers a lot of chances to reach the nature and do DIY.

Hmmmm, so it's similar the the German "Forest Kindergarten" school idea, kids outside for a couple of hours each day, in all weather, getting into nature and digging the environment?

Yes you are right spencer... I would like this to be in the A to Z.... wood0: please make an a to z review about this school: your topic is not a question nor a discussion topic, just an announcement about a new school in zhuhai. This is great, but should be in the A to Z.
