quesstion... is the macau border all night? i was thinking of making a trip down this weekend.. and want to know if i could make it back late night....

The good news about arriving
The good news about arriving at the border that late (I am assuming we are talking about Gongbei?) is that it is very quiet. At least that was true on Monday night of this week. I got there at about 11:15 and it and both sides were virtually empty. Of course, there was only one slow moving lane for foreigners and at least 2 open lanes for Chinese that were empty.
What a zoo it was in the morning though. At 8:30am the entire Macau entry hall was wall to wall people with no organized queue anywhere that I could see. People pushing and shoving everywhere. What an awful way to begin the day.....
