Ooops! Well at the risk of sounding stupid... I think I ran a Red light today. Not sure really, kinda vegged out for a minute and hey, I am halfway into the intersection, hmmm. Looked in the mirror to the left side and cars are stopped behind me, BUT they could just be waiting for a left turn signal...hmmm. I'm past the light already and cars are starting to come out from the left side street. The intersection itself had been clear of traffic for the most part.
Sooo, IF I did happen to run a light, I suppose those cameras would've caught me doing it... (Lord knows they don't seem to catch all the motorcycles who do it everyday or all the cars driving on the wrong side of the road)
Well...if these cameras did catch me doing something I was not supposed to have done then just exactly am I supposed to find out??? No Policemen came knocking at my door tonight... Maybe the cameras are simply a decorative deterrent??
How is this supposed to work? Anyone have any knowledge? Do they send you a ticket in the mail? Deliver it to your door? Ignore it like they do with the motorcycles??

Was there a flash? You will be surprise a lot of camera does not work. Worst you get a 200 yuan ticket through the mail unless you are not the owner of the vehicle.

There is website where you can check whether you are fine or not. I dont have it on this pc but when I am using my laptop I will post that website address here. All you need to do is type in your car number plate and it will list the traffic offences if any the "car" has committed.
When you are down to the traffic police to pay your fine they will even show you the video clip of it ! LoL

I remember driving down
I remember driving down tongjia. The limit looks like 60 or something. The driver was blowing by traffic left and right and yes there are cameras that flashed but some camera didn't. The plate is from up north and the system does not link so he didn't care. Well he was driving like everyone else but he didn't slow down for the cameras.
