I am guess this is what is going on:
Your client or potential client is a Wine maker.
Your boss wants to create a campaign to entice this company to do business in China.
If that is the case that promotion gift for them will be easy. Just show them around zhuhai and introduce them to rich people. Take them out and treat them to wines already sold in China. This way they get a sense of the competition.
Now who is AP?

I guess they may wanna sell something to a wine making company and looking for something as a gift for their product?
have no idea about that actually...
Goblet rings are a great
Goblet rings are a great wine accesories! I imagine it would be extremely inexpensive to produce here in China too. In case you don't know what goblet rings are: they're accesories that hang on a wine goblet (usually the stem)so people can keep track which wine goblet is theirs if they happen to set it down.

Also, a wine bottle cover is a nice way to dress up the bottle. I've seen some really cute ones that look like chinese shirts (the chinese button collar has an opening for the neck of the bottle to stick right through it).
I always like the picnic bags that are made with pocket for the wine bottle and two stemware glasses to go with it, neatly tucked in the picnic bag.
With wine it's always nice to get stemware as well (2). Being a wine drinker, stemware gets broken a lot in handling or use, so you can always use new stemware.
The corkscrew idea is great, but if it's a fancy wine producer it may look on the cheap side. Maybe a promotional special on a realy nice corkscrew (such ones offered in Crate and Barrel catalog).
I always enjoy a great recipe to use a particular wine. Maybe in you incorporate the wine into the recipe to cook with and drink, people will be motivated to purchase and use the wine. Since most people are not familiar in what to do with wine. You can have the recipe attached on a nice paper and tagged to the wine.
I'll sure I'll think of more stuff. . . =)

I'm back, um, to add to the information promotional route: a packet or a little booklet for good pairing with the wine would make a great tag as well.
If they sell wine here in
If they sell wine here in the future, tell them we need some wine casks ! Cardboard square boxes with bladder of cheap wine (red or white) inside and with a pull out tap. Usually 4-6 litres.
And while you're at it.. see
And while you're at it.. see if they can sell those ready mixed casks of Vodka and Orange as well... lol...
