Hi guys
My girlfriend is visiting from Oz over Chinese NY. I have days 4-5 off and thought an overnight stay in China would be cool. Suggestions? Will everything be booked out?

I have done many reservations for my trips through www.ctrip.com as they don't request any deposits for the most hotels in China and rate is much cheaper than you get from OZ agents...easy and reliable.

BTW,it is better to double confirm with Ctrip 1-2 days before your arriving just in case.

Budgets open. She's a shopoholic so something near the Macau border is the plan. Had a look at ctrip. Unfortunately I dont kno Zhuhai well enough to identify locations (I can find the street bars tho!).

Zhuhai is a very small

Zhuhai is a very small place. You can drive to most places within a 10 minute radius by taxi. Just stick to Gongbei district and you will be fine for both shopping and bars. She can get all her Christmas shopping done at the Gongbei Underground Shopping Mall while you drink beer and shop for other things at Lian Hua Lu, walking street.
