Firefox problems?

Tags:

Anyone else having problems with Firefox the last day or two? My computer "catches" when I try to open a new tab and/or I have to click on the new tab multiple times. Of course, I may have some sort of virus, but was just wondering if anyone else was having any "buggy" Firefox issues recently.

Ok, thanks! IE is humming

Ok, thanks! IE is humming along smoothly. Firefox did the same thing on my other laptop in Guangxi during Spring Festival, so I was just wondering. Weird.

Hey...one other thing...I need to buy a car soon when I go back the States and until last week had been using http://www.carmax.com to check prices. It has now crapped out on all of my computers and I can't access it even with a proxy. Would someone be so kind as to see if they can access that site and let me know? (I'll be SOOOO damn happy when I've left the GFW behind for good...)

At last, we finally see what

Thanks, Blue Moon..I've

Thanks, Blue Moon..I've decided to unmask for my last week here! ;)

I CAN "access" that web site, but I get this message:

"An Error Occurred!
The link you clicked, or the URL you typed into your browser, didn't work for some reason."

Wondering if Doc or any others can suggest a remedy...

Have you tried Edmunds.com

Have you tried Edmunds.com or kbb.com?

Yep, but I wanna buy it

Yep, but I wanna buy it through Carmax. My folks have bought their last five or six cars through them and swear by the 'ordeal.' But, yeah, it's not the end of the world or anything. Why the heck would the GFW block that web site?? Wait. That's a stupid rhetorical question...

@canrun: ddblough is right.

@canrun:

ddblough is right. Kelly Blue Book is the most reliable source for used car prices. Carmax and Automax are ripoffs. All they try to do is steer you to one of their stores where the only thing they sell are abused, and often repossed pieces of automotive crap with "touched" odometers. Avoid them like the plague.

Man! Canrun! you haven't

Man! Canrun!

you haven't de-masked at all! If you think, masquerading as a degenerate UK TV-based cripple is taking the mask off, you're sorely wrong. But, who am I to correct you and say, "hey! this f'n shite is wrong?" All power to you, and best of luck in you're new digs. BG..ssss.
