Where is the best place to book air tickets for travel in China? Is there a good online travel agent who speaks english? Where can one get the best deals? Thanks

He's from HK and totally fluent in English. They have an office in Gong Bei. You can pay by CC,CC. Heh ;)

For flights WITHIN China (departing from and arriving in China), use a website such as www.ctrip.com or http://ticket.9588.com to check the prices and then either buy the ticket from the website or go to a local travel agent (price is usually the same).

I just did a double check and I can get substantially cheaper RT fares from Zhuhai to Shanghai by going directly to the China Southern website......

The main thing is to use one with IATA acreditation, there are quite a few around. I have used both the agencies in the Bei Huo shopping area. The one near McDonalds can't speak English but the one down near the baby clothes place can speak some En. All places with this accreditation seem to have similar prices.
