Camera/Lens repair

Hellooo,
Would anybody know where I could get a lanes repaired in ZH/HK or Mac ??
I've a Nikon D80 which my son knocked t the floor from about a 1.5 meter height. The camera itself is ok. However the lens is locked up. I was about to pack it up and send to the USA but thought I'd better check locally first. Its a Tamron lens.

Yes there is a good repair

Yes there is a good repair shop in Gongbei. Send Doc an email to get the name of the street. It's very close to where the Golden Elephant Thai restaurant used to be.

I had a Ricoh lens repaired at this shop and as far as I can tell they did a great job.

Just got the lens back from

Just got the lens back from the shop, FINALLY!! And it was NOT repaired. I went to that shop. I had assumed that they would send it away to some place else. When I went back to the shop after a couple months they showed me the lens completely dismantled. Said it was unrepairable. Told me I could still use it manually and if I wanted it back they would put it back together for me. I went back a few days later after they'd re-assembled it and it is now sitting in the glove box of my car.
I am about to give up I think and go buy a replacement.
