I can only hope that HKTV will broadcast the latest edition of "Top Gear" when it is available this summer. I find "Top Gear" to be the single most entertaining programming on either of the two HK stations.

I have downloaded scores of TG bits from youtube. It would be better, however, on the bigger screen.

I am with you orrin. Actually it's better than that - Top Gear is the best entertainment of it's type anywhere, ever, that I have seen. Helps if you are interested in cars.

Is that the show with very annoying British dude and Ryan SeaCrest wannabe?

Not having any idea who Ryan Seacrest is, I don’t have a clue. What I do know, however, is that Jeremy Clarkson, the motivating force, and savior of Top Gear is a very talented, self-educated presenter who takes very entertaining delight in skewering the sacred cows of governments, special interest groups, and industry. He, and his co-presenters Richard Hammond and James May add some degree of balance to Clarkson (sometimes acting as Clarkson’s “straight men”) while maintaining the overall superb entertainment value of the show.

All of that being said, I don’t always agree with Clarkson et all. I think that he (they) sometimes exhibit a xenophobic view of a number of things which I sometimes find a bit annoying until I really think about what and why they are saying what they are.
