Super Bowl party?

Anybody up for a Super Bowl party on the morning of Feb. 4? I’m pretty sure that CCTV5 is going to do a live broadcast early in the morning, about 7:30 am. I know that they did last year because I watched it.
Perhaps, if there is enough interest, we can persuade one of the local expat bars to open very early that day.

I was having the same thought. Count me in, though I don't know how much beer I can drink that early in the morning.

I remember back in ’02 when the Tampa Bay Bucs (my home team) beat Oakland, one of the HK channels had been advertising for weeks that it would be broadcast. On the appointed day, I had no other commitments, so I had a fresh case of Hayshed, and a pile of appropriate snacks all prepared. At the appointed time I tuned in just in time for some of the pre-game festivities. Then, just as the opening kickoff was about to happen, they cut away to a WOMAN’S VOLLEYBALL MATCH!!! You might have some idea of my unbridled anger.
I managed to reach a friend in the states on MSN messenger, and he placed his mic close to his TV so that I could at least listen to the audio while I watched the graphics from the game on ESPN.com. At least that was better than nothing

It dawned on me the other day, though, that I will be on a bus Monday morning when I presume this year's game will be on. I haven't actually checked the schedule. You may now have to count me out.....
