Thats true, from what I have

Thats true, from what I have been told, she was the first woman in China to get the equivelent of a private pilots licence. I believe she is the owner, being a recreational pilot myself I was introduced to her ... and the husband is also an ex air force pilot. The banner on the side of the building (I think it's been moved to the side of the "other" Blue Angel that has the marine theme commemorates this fact.

I have read an article in

I have read an article in the Huafa New Town's mag about a glider pilot and a glider club in Zhuhai. It is definitely doable. You may also want to go to Macao and jump off the Macao tower for about 600 RMB.

Whilst I own an Ultralight

Whilst I own an Ultralight back in OZ, and if "home" I would fly it or something else every chance I get, I have no urge to take off into the gloom they call a sky around here, and if I did, there isn't anywhere to land. It there is one thing I really miss about OZ, it's crystal clear blue skies. I think I might take up kite flying.
