Damn good idea.... I always wanted to practice speaking Mandarin but did not know who to speak to coz everyone at my office speaks English. I do have some Chinese friends but they never speak to me in Mandarin because they want to practice their spoken English. I am not too keen on traveling or shopping though. But if I can find someone to speak Mandarin with, i will be delighted. This could be a great SYMBIOSIS (Call me to know what it means....he he he)

i am so glad you are interested in this. i am always looking forward to such a group to practice my English. We can dicide to use English or Chinese each time, so we can all have our new learned language practised.
By the way, i am not so intereted in just sitting or standing there and talking. i'd like to involve the learning with some fun. we can have a small gathering or party, a dinner, BBQ and a lot of things we can do.

By the way, the Christmas is coming. i want to go to Macao experiencing a real Christmas. The foreign friends here can explain your traditions for this day and we can talk whatever what see. that will be very interesting! we can decide to use Chinese or English this time or both as you like.

Yeah, I really want to make a friend who is a English speaker and we can learn from each other.

I am now orgnizing a trip to Yang Shuo from Dec 14 to 19 with my collegues. if everything is fine we will leave this weeked. Not sure whether you are interested in this or not.
