Chinese Laws and Regulations in English

As we all know it's hard to find relevant Chinese Laws and Regulations, in English. Here are a few sites you may find useful, or at least illustrative.

1. This used to be my favorite source as it had a lot of information that was up-to-date. Sadly it in now no longer available, it was in operation until Jan 2007 however the domain now appears to have been parked. For an interesting collection of 'older' archived material, from 2004, visit here:

Please bear in mind that some of these may now be updated or no longer relevant due to changes in Chinese law.

2. A worthwhile site to keep an eye on, the "Public Security Department of Guangdong
Province Entry and Exit Control Service Net." It's located here:

3. Another site with a shortlist of Laws and Regulations, it's aimed mostly at foreign teachers bit it does extend slightly beyond that.

4. This is the Official SAFEA - State Administration of Foreign Affairs site:

5. and, this site also focused on teachers with some SAFEA/Work in China related info.
