I saw it, but they offer cars with driver only (more than 500 RMb/day, from what I use in hangzhou you can get a car for around 200 RMB a day) or more than 3 month rental without driver... nothing for a day or 2.......

so that's why I asked :)

Yes, you might be able to rent a car in Zhuhai from one of the local companies if you are a local resident and a few thousand dollars more for deposits. It is about 200rmb/day for a Jetta. I am sure you know the procedures if you have rented in Hangzhou before.

I think it'll be more complicated for the car renting company if you don't rent the driver as well. Maybe that's why they wanted you to rent the driver too.

Jet Link will rent out cars to expats without drivers, but for three months and up long term rentals.
