Tasks
§ understand industry situation, pricing and quality issues;
§ understand how manufacturers work;
§ Help the account manager identify quality problems/ setting up some quality standards/ push suppliers for improvements;
§ Follow-up with factories to ensure certain timetable will be met and keep client account manager informed;
§ Souring new suppliers and products;
§ Multi-projects follow up till the first order executed;
§ Provide feedback on first order to factory for improvement;
§ Brief the Order & Shipping Manager on the complete requirements and quality issues for the product and factory and hand-over the project to them for repeat orders;
§ Making sure suppliers comply with certain procedures/ rules requested by our company;
§ Speak with and visit suppliers to negotiate quality issues/ clients’ complains/ quality standards etc;
§ Help the account manager to communicate with suppliers and find solutions for some specific problems;
§ Good at building/ maintaining relationships with suppliers; good at bargaining on prices and contract conditions;

§ Analyze sourcing processes and performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement improvements (all carried out jointly with colleagues)
§ Develop skills in managing people to achieve improvements in the quality, efficiency and effectiveness of outputs, in order to play a greater role in the development of the company

Qualifications

Requirements
§ 3+ years sourcing/ related factory operation experience
§ 3+ years projects/ team members managing experience
§ Very positive and can-do attitude
§ Team player
§ Very strong engineering background and logical thinking
§ Very good at communicating with factories and pushing for results
§ Fluent written & spoken English and Mandarin (Cantonese would be an advantage)
§ Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
§ Microsoft Word skills, good understanding of drawings and related softwares
§ Extreme attention to detail
§ Ability to anticipate and prevent all kinds of issues
§ Knowledge of glass/ aluminum/ hard ware and other bathroom related products would be an advantage
