Hello, JJ . yeah , we had great fun there .we traveled from south to north and from north be back to south ,we experienced 4 seasons just in those few days and Hanoi is the creaziest city i ever saw,but i like it .hehe....

hey doc ,if your in the old quarter of hanoi,pop into 22 hang bo ,near the lake.. its a tiny restaurant where the momma makes 'bahn xeo', that gorgeous coconut milk pancake with tiny shrimps ,wrapped in rice paper with all the fresh herbs,and that killer dipping sauce. im having withdrawal symptoms something chronic. in fact i cooked a passable bun bo xao[ braised beef - onion noodles] on saturday in desperation. did i mention the food? enjoy mate.
