Tidy up my things...

These few days I’ve been packin’ packin’… millions tons of things! During this struggling work, I found and reviewed some stuff - great stuff. At the time, I had some time again to re-read some of the letters (in the “paper” form, perfect to touch ~) and greeting cards from my friends when I was in colleage or even long time ago; I opened some books or notebooks which I left on the shelf long time before finding some funny notes and remarks; I took this chance to think about the past of my life… It’s interesting that I feel the past of my life was devided and kept by several things: some of it was in the memory of others around me; some of it was in my own imagination and memory; some of it has grown into something planned deep in the rest of my life; some of it was lost forever in time…
In one of the letters from one of my friends, she copied a few sentences for me from an article:
To stand in the doorway of someone’s heart.
In every heart there is an untold story. A house without lights, waiting for the sound of a key in the door. Sometimes an old song breaks through the barricades, a shy ghost wandering among broken rooms, disturbing the dust. Sometimes a moonbeam will ship through the cold rain on the attic window and brush aside a cobeb.
Is this your heart?
Where are the stairs? Just as we cannot see the lights at sea until the room is shrouded in night, to find the first foothold in a lonely heart, we must carry our lantern into the darkness.
--From “The Salt in the Wind”
Who can tell the future of our life? The one who has the biggest say should be ourselves, however, we still can say very very few of it… Just one thing I did and do hope, I wish the people (including the shy ghost ^^~) who ever met me would put a smile on their faces whenever they would remember me :) xixi~
Ps I am not dying (to some degree, I AM… ha~), I am just leaving for some other place. Missing missing…
