Live Music at the Old Chinese Junk

Wowee - what a fun night!
It's 11:30 on Saturday 10th of November 2007 in a warm and sunny Zhuhai.
I flick through the pictures from last night and each one in turn makes me laugh! I don't do it often, but every time I hand my camera around amongst friends, I always get a treat looking back through them!
(Kudos to Michelle for keeping the flash off. It takes more time and effort to process, but I put the graft in and I hope you like the results!)
So why, you might wonder, was I passing my camera about?
Well I and fellow Brit Tim Hole were entertaining the masses up at the Old Chinese Junk in Tangjia.
The last minute purchases of guitar straps, folders for music and music stands turned our intimate accoustic session into a small-scale gig with an element of organisation. Purchases this week (yes - we're back again on Friday!) include a new voice for Mark (me) and Microphones and speakers! Thanks to Ken (Mr Pizza) for help with the buying - having only been here for two months our putonghua isn't quite up to scratch yet! Ken will also be joining us tonight at 9pm!
So our set, including tracks from Elvis Presley and Buddy Holly, right through from The Beatles to Dillon, US Country Singer Kenny Chesney and U2, we hope our wide audience felt looked after.
Once we were done, the central area of the bar - now completely cleared out - becomes a dance floor over-looking China Town. We drank and boogied until the wee small hours of the night and look forward to doing it all again this week!
Mark and Tim are back at the Old Chinese Junk, China Town, Tangjia tonight!
