Go Back to Hometown

May Day is coming... Any place you would like to go? And I remembered the fantastic visit to my hometown - Meizhou, where is also the cradle of the Hakka culture.
This was the second time I came back here, where is the place my grandfather and my ancestors were born... The first time when I was there was in 2003, and at the time I could not understand a single Hakka (the local tongue) word at all... However, this time, I could totally understand and even could imitate a bit! And acutally nobody have taught it to me... C'est bizarre, non? :)
Although I am fairly clear that I would not spend my life here, I still know and feel that this is the place where my "root" is.
