Recently,I made a mistake,almost lost 300 dollars because of my careless.I calculate shipping cost for my customer,but did it wrong.shipping charge will be 300usd more.I even didn't find this mistake until transport company told me yesterday.
then i try to communicate with my customer,he said it's not his fault,yes ,it's my fault,but 300usd is a little more i hope he can do me a favor fortunately he
promised me.thanks for his help! I will be more and more careful in future !!!

Yes be certain of the amount

Yes be certain of the amount before telling the customer. " Bite the bullet" on this one and consider it a lesson learned. Famous last words, "BE MORE CAREFUL" :).
Don't worry, if this is a repeat customer, you will not lose him/her/them.

Due to sky high oil prices

Due to sky high oil prices and world wide inflation, I think the customers are able to "accept" higher shipping costs. It's understandable...

Check before you ship next time too, because chances are prices have probably gone up!
