Baby names - going crazy

Since a few weeks/months my wife and I have been looking for the perfect baby name for our little one. Time is running out and we still have not made our choice for a boys name and a girls name.

I have a few names in mind and my wife has her choice too.

What makes it difficult is that the name must be pronounceable by both a chinese and a western person.

On top of that Chinese people tend to choose the name according to the zodiac sign of the baby. With that i mean that certain characters are good and others are bad
and should be left out of the name.

We are now less then 7 days before the estimated date of birth of our young one and it is driving me crazy.

All this name superstition.... Even from me.... I have
some names i like and some i hate ( who in the world would call his son after a fat singer from graceland who died of an overdose )....

Help !!! I am loosing my mind and we haven't even started thinking about a chinese name... That one too should contain certain strokes. Like water is positive for a pig so the name should contain strokes referring to water.
