I remember the original Live Bar in Xianzhou. My friend Andrew helped design it, and it was then, as it is today, a great place for expats to hang out.

I've been to LIVE Bar a few times now and really enjoy the rough edgy nature of the bar. It's easy to really chill out and even forget where you are for a while...
The owner played drums for Tim and I whilst we rocked out a few numbers - he's got some skillz! :)
Good crowd, good tunes and good drink. Haven't tried the food yet, but my friend enjoyed the friend noodles!
c'mon man! im all for rock and roll as you know, and feel im a fellow soldier in the fight to rock zhuhai. but 'friend noodles'!!!. im appalled. how do you decide which friend goes under the knife. sheesh , you guys rock hard. gotta love the typo,chopper.
I visited The Live Bar when I first came to Zhuhai in Feb. 2003 to meet my future wife. We went there around 10 pm in the evening with some friends of ours after a great dinner. The management and patrons were so friendly and gracious, and being a guitar player, I was asked up on stage to play "a couple of numbers" which of course I did not hesitate as this is a hobby I really enjoy. I had a great time there, and the next time I (we) visit Zhuhai I will stop by again. I was wondering, Is Devin (who played drums along with me) still manager there?
