"Mastercar’s Monzon dominates opening race in Sepang"
Championship leader Luis Monzon continued his domination in the Asian GT Challenge with a perfect race at Sepang; leading for start to finish to win Round 3 of the series at Super GT International Series Malaysia. Collecting 18 more championship points with the win, Monzon now has 87 points and will be favourites to extend that lead after Round 4 tomorrow.
In the next race which was round four of championships, Monzon by the second lap was 7 seconds in front but in the eighth lap, Monzon was forced to retire due to an electrical problem in the Ferrari.
Mastercar Racing Team will be back in Shanghai in August for the 5th and 6th round of the Asian Super GT Challenge Series.
