Must say that the food here is also good, coming from Malaysia we are used to Southern Indian food, like the prata, dosa(we like the crispier version though!) and poori. However I must admit there seems to be something lacking in the atmosphere. But love the food there. Definitely worth a try if you like spicy stuff.
I eat here regularly. The food is good, a favourite of mine and friends being the vege samosa, the prices are OK, the service is fine but above all the ambience is excellent. Most nights at about 7.30 will have some form of floor show, my favourite being the dancing girl routines. One night the boss was in town and we had 5 or 6 floor shows. Usually well patronised, and always a boiled sweet on the way home. Quaint, but nice. They try hard to please.
I have known Indian Kitchen since 2002 when I lived in Shenzhen. Later I have been a regular at their branch in Beijing. The management is very good and they are very efficient. I like the atmosphere and the food. You can also order at very low prices various spices and Indian desserts mixes to cook at home.
Prices aren't low but once in a while it is a nice place to come with friends to and enjoy good food and nice drinks.
