Bank of Communications (BOCOM) provides personal customers with various personal financial services such as savings, personal loans, bank card and personal wealth management services.
BOCOM has set up an integrated retail banking application system encompassing credit card, savings, personal loans, and agent receipt and payment services. This system won the second prize for the 2000 Scientific and Technological Progress Award conferred by the People’s Bank of China. The system platform has enabled us to launch new products oriented to the retail banking needs in China, gradually forming four product lines. The first product line covers savings products, offering universal saving and withdrawal in local and foreign currencies with our outlets of the same city, as well as the distribution of certificate treasury bonds. The second product line covers bankcard services that include Pacific credit cards, debit cards, “all-in-one” cards, National Link, Bank-Securities Link, and Foreign Exchange Kit. Other services in this product line include the distribution of fund products, and insurance products, telephone banking, self-service banking, Internet banking, IP telephone services and travel booking services. The third product line covers various types of personal loans, such as personal pledged loans, personal housing mortgaged loans, personal vehicle loans and personal loans for shop property. The fourth product line is about a range of agent collection and payment services that covers the payment of salaries, automatic receipt of public utility fees and lottery betting revenues.
BOCOM’s comprehensive and advanced retail products enjoy a leading position in the industry. We strive to reach the highest standard in meeting the needs of financial management of our customers. BOCOM also takes pride in achieving marvelous results and win-win situations for customers and the bank. BOCOM has so far developed 36 personal savings products, 16 personal asset-type products and brokerage services for 120 personal financial products. Pacific Cards, Personal Lending Kit, Foreign Exchange Kit and BOCOM Financial are already widely deployed in the market.
