Zhuhai boosted in Shanghai

WORLD-famous enterprises, including Siemens, Bayer, Abbott, HP, Daikin (China), KPMG, JP Morgan Chase & Co, Paramount and Parkway Health China took part in The New Trend of Industrial Layout in China -- International Forum on Investment Prospects of Zhuhai sponsored by Zhuhai Municipal People’s Government and supported by the municipal Foreign Trade & Economic Cooperation Department and AT Kearney & Co in Shanghai on Wednesday.
The 200 participating businesses covered petrochemical, electronic manufacturing, biopharmaceutical, software, tourism, recreation and other service sectors. They showed great interest in investing in Zhuhai.
Vice Mayor Chen Honghui, on behalf of the municipal CPC Party Committee and government, discussed Zhuhai’s strengths and fascination as a special economic zone. Li Ying, vice secretary general of the municipal government, briefed the audience on Zhuhai’s competitive edge in status, location, ecological environment and development space. He also elaborated on the industrial structure featuring petrochemical, precision machinery manufacturing, home and electric appliances, integrated circuit and biopharmaceutical industries with advanced manufacturing industry taking the lead, foundation industries as support and service sector in full swing.
