Wu Xia

I am not a very emotional guy, being quite phlegmatic most of the time, but I have had an extremely heavy heart these last few days since learning of the terrible accident that befell my good friend Wu Xia whilst competing in Japan last week-end. After several very successful years competing in China in 125cc and 600cc motorcycle events, the race in Japan was a new horizon for Wu Xia to conquer. Unfortunately tragedy occurred and Wu Xia was involved in an horrific accident during which she was very badly hurt with injuries sustained to her neck, hands and legs. Whilst it is still only a short time after the accident the short to medium term prognosis is difficult to contemplate. I am sure everyone will wish Wu Xia an incredibly quick recovery and that she will return to Zhuhai to see her many friends as soon as possible.
One thing is for sure , Wu Xia is a very positive and determined young lady and if there is anybody who can overcome this sort of setback , I am sure she can. She also has a great sense of humour which will also help in the coming weeks.
