Island tours promoted

TOURS to Dong’ao, Hebao, Wailingding, Guishan, Baili and other islands are being promoted at local travel services. The 1st Fishing Family Folk Customs Festival between April 26 and May 26 on Wanshan Island, the Seafood Gourmet Festival from April 12 to May 12 on Guishan Island, the 1st Island Carnival covering photography, rock fishing and sailing competition on Wanshan Island have readied for participation.
The one-day tour to Dong’ao and Hebao islands costs 118 yuan ($17) and two-day tour to Dong’ao, Hebao and Wailingding islands around 200 yuan ($28.50) including boat fare and hotel.
Miaowan Island will be added to the travel routes this year. Electric carts have been purchased for Dong’ao Island and road facilities renovated on Hebao Island.

Just to inform you about the reality after promotion.
I have been visiting the Travel to Island agency (岛之游游行社). And i faced numerous troubles
- Time of departure and return are not convenient to maximize holiday time: for example, to Miao Wan Dao (the farest island in the south). Departure 3 PM, return 9 am 2 days after. I will spend 3 days holidays with 1 on the island. Inverting the time and i could spend 2 days on the island.
- In order to maximise time have been suggested to return with fisher boat but advised it is not safe.
- I have been told that on Miao Wan Dao, the showers are with sea water
- The sea customs is checking passport even staying in China (and according to the present situation, you'd better be legal!). Oups, my visa is being renewed at the security bureau.
- We wanted to go with 8 people spend good time there, 2 of us has visa renewed, and finally, in the Island tour promotion, we cancelled all.
Holidays in China are definitively not great time to travel...
