We have changed our servers and this is why the site was off line the last couple of days. Everything should be back to normal now but if you spot a bug or anything abnormal (there will be for sure!), please us know.
Also, we hope the speed will be faster from now on... let us know what you think.
Thank you for your patience and for using Expat9 :)

Hi Sanjeev,
Impossible to be hosted in China: 1) local governmetn has the power to block hosting company's port 2) slow outside of china (and many of outr users are people who will come to Zhuhai) 3) no english

The Zhuhai Map page seems to have a problem with the drag box being "undragable".
The site does seem a little faster, it's now slow as opposed to glacial, but then that's systemic of Zhuhai's ADSL connections. The true test is at 3am.

Regarding the speed, still not perfect I know, but we will try to improve it... but as you say Roy, Zhuhai's network is a real challenge.

@JJ,
The performance of the site is MUCH better. I can navigate around with about the same speed as I can on MSN or other offshore sites. One small problem, however; It seems that some of the photos in the galleries have been duplicated, or in some cases, triplicated. Also, the "rating stars" for the photos have dissapeared along with the comments. Again, this is a minor problem. The site's performance is much better now. Well done!
